I remember your display from last year John, and this time you’ve “branched” out (pun intended) to embrace out films that are connected by their time of release. I’ve noticed in recent years, that studios are releasing their prestige product well ahead of the holiday week, leaving the last two weeks cinematically barren. I guess the big one remaining this year is the Coen brothers’ TRUE GRIT.
Bizarre to see Christmas tied up with not-particularly-festive films like ‘The Great Dictator’and ‘The Wicked Lady’! A great selection of ads, John.

I agree Judy, celebrating Christmas with a satirical film like THE GREAT DICTATOR seems a bit bizarre.

Anyway, lovely presentation here as always!

Thanks Sam, I am looking forward to TRUE GRIT (I disliked the original), and THE KING’S SPEECH opening here.
