Well, we all know Christmas is run by a big eastern syndicate. I wonder how effective these ads were in their time. Were (or are) guns and cigarettes popular gifts?
Ladies, buy yourself underwear for Christmas? How depressing.
Budweiser? On special occasions, I like to be treated to Heineken.

I would imagine a carton of cigarettes for Dad and rifles for the kids were on many of Santa’s lists. They go so well together.:)
